为推进全民阅读活动进军营，11月2日下午，达州市退役军人事务局联系市图书馆到大竹县武警达州支队执勤一中队驻地开展“军民同心 送书进军营”活动。

此次送书进军营，是市退役军人事务局和市图书馆助力学习型军营建设的一项举措，是以文化拥军的方式，服务军队建设的一件实事，谱写了军爱民、民拥军、军民共建的新篇章，受到部队官兵的热烈欢迎。

活动当天送书近百种，价值数万元。这批书将投放到大竹县第五中队的阅读书屋，为部队官兵提供借阅服务。活动用书内容涵盖军事、政治、历史、文学、新闻写作等多个方面，共计两百来册。这是根据部队官兵的阅读兴趣和阅读需求专门采购的新书，能够充分满足部队官兵的借阅需求，丰富军人业余文化生活。

部队首长和战士对市退役军人事务局和图书馆此次送书进军营活动表示了感谢，双方就今后的服务方式、内容等事宜进行了深入交流并达成协议。市退役军人事务局罗局长也表示，今后将进一步加强与驻军部队之间的联系，并尽最大能力不断完善服务，增进军民鱼水之情。
